Hossein Ekrami joined Perceptive in 2007 as a senior analyst focusing on specialty pharmaceuticals, generics, and biotech. Prior he was at Ursus Capital, where he was a Senior Analyst for more than seven years. Hossein earned his Ph.D. at the University of Southern California and his undergraduate degree, with honors, from London University.
